In 2010 the Freedom Project was set up by the Elim International Missions Department in order to help young girls, women and boys who have had their freedom taken away from them and find themselves being used and brutally exploited by what is termed as Sex Trafficking.

Sex trafficking is a modern-day form of slavery in which a commercial sex act is induced by force, fraud or coercion, or in which the person induced to perform such an act is under the age of 18 years. Sex trafficking in today's society, with the accessibility of locating victims around the world through the internet, has caused such a drastic demand for this service that it has increased the earnings of this crime so much that it is believed by many to be the most profitable illicit business globally.

Through the Freedom Project it isn't our aim just to make you aware of the challenges or to monitor what is happening or even overload you with facts and figures, but it is our aim to inform, provoke, upset, stir up and even anger you, and most of all to inspire you to believe that each and every one of us can help to make a difference through Freedom Project. We want to help hundreds of women and young girls and boys be set free from the evil that has ensnared them and that as they shout “FREEDOM” there will be no doubt whatsoever that this is the case.
