Nigel & Rachel Studley
Short biography
Nigel & Rachel attended Petra Elim Church in Perivale, London and are both graduates of Kensington Temple’s Bible School. For a time Rachel was an Assistant Minister at KT’s Satellite church in Perivale and later a business woman, and Nigel worked for a bank in the City. But now their lives are very different. They live among the heat and mosquitoes of India, and are overseeing a building project – of a whole village for needy children! Soon after they married, they went to northern India to meet Rachel’s family. As Rachel is from India she had seen Indian poverty before, but Nigel was shocked by the large numbers of impoverished children living on the streets and railways. They sensed God calling them to do more than give money – to go and open a children’s home and school. They shared the vision with a number of Christian friends, asking if they would be trustees of a new charity, which was founded in 2003. Ministries
