ASYM (Farai Katiro)

ASYM stands for 'Africa Street Youth Ministries', whose primary aim is to meet the immediate and long term needs of street children by providing them with FAMILY SETTING MODEL accommodation, education and training, employment creation and supporting their families and communities. ASYM’s purpose is to invest in young people through rescuing, restoring and re-integrating street children into society, physically, socially, emotionally and spiritually. In this way key issues are targeted which drive children onto the streets. After several years of research, planning and prayer the first home for street children was opened in October 2011 in Mutare, Zimbabwe.
