Mike & Jane
Short biography
In July 2007 Mike and Jane* and their children, left the UK to live in Kathmandu, the ancient capital of Nepal. It is here that they have commenced a work on behalf of Elim seeking to reach out across the Himalayan region. For the main part Mike and Jane work through a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO). The NGO focuses on small development projects that bring transformation to local communities it is through these community transforming projects the team then plant churches. Mike and Jane continue to learn Nepali as well as networking and building relationships with individuals and organisations that have a similar passion to Elim. Building long-term relationships is the key to having any kind of influence so time is given to establishing contacts with local people. Mike also heads up the Himalayan Working Group whose primary purpose is to strategically develop Elim’s work in the Himalayas, to raise the profile of the work in the UK and to raise funds for the work. *Names changed for security reasons Ministries
