Elim in Tanzania

Elim first sent missionaries to Tanzania in 1946 when Tom Nosworthy and Arthur Tate set out to pioneer a missions work in Tanganyika. The great foundations they laid led to the establishment of KEPT – Kanisa la Elim Pentekoste Tanzania (Elim Pentecostal Church of Tanzania) in 1978. Pastor Stephen Mwayahila heads up KEPT and there are now over 150 churches plus a Bible School.
