Mandy Campbell
I joined the Elim International Missions Team in October 2007. My role involves setting up and organising mission placements for people who want to have a ‘mission experience’, either short or long term. We organise placements for people of all ages and from all walks of life. I love this work because I believe that there is nothing quite like having ‘hands on’ experience on the mission field. Such experiences can radically change our mind sets, our values and ultimately our hearts.
I am also the Director of Elim Lifelink. Lifelink’s ministry is based around the scripture in Proverbs 31:20: “She opens her arms to the poor and extends her hands to the needy.” You can find out more about Lifelink by clicking here.
When I am not working I love to spend my time with family. My husband Dave and I enjoy days out at the coast, eating oriental food or curling up on the sofa to watch endless episodes of Spooks! We have two grown up daughters Sophie and Amy, and a scrumptious little granddaughter called Nevaeh. We also have a great son in law called Jamie.
One of the greatest passions in my life is my football team Derby County. I grew up in Derbyshire and remember being taken to football matches with my Dad from the age of about 10. I have followed the ‘Rams’ ever since, and go and watch the home games as often as I can – usually dragging Dave along with me!!

After completing an Applied Theology BA HONS at Regents Theological College I joined the team at Elim Missions in August 2009. I orginally joined the team as an administrator which gave me an oppurtunity to be involved in missionary work froma different angle. For many years I have been involved with a wide variety of missions work overseas and in the UK and feel passionate about being able to serve those working on the mission field and connect people in the UK to those overseas.
Since my husband was appointed as pastor of the Elim Church in Hoddesdon i have relocated and consequently changed my role at Elim Missions. More specifically now i focus on the administration side of things for Lifelink. I love being a part of a ministry that helps fundraise for life changing proects and working a longside the Lifelink ladies who are full of ideas and passion for God.
Since moving to Hoddesdon i have got involved in coaching gymnastics and working alongside my husband at the church. I spend my spare time doing Mixed media Art, catching up with family and drinking lots of Hazlenut Hot Chocolate!

I am married to the unstoppable Mr Pugh , and have three amazing children and it’s a privilege to be there Mom!
I work for a few hours with Mark in the S4G offices and also run the coffee/bookshop that is linked with the college and is a great service to the community of West Malvern as it is the only shop in the village (must be said in welsh accent !) ,along with my colleague Helen (the book momma) Richardson!
The shop is a great way to build bridges with the local people , who love the ‘shop with integrity products and are a great support to our ever growing range of fair-trade products.
For me I’m not sure when my love for the poor started I guess I have always felt connected to the vulnerable and broken of this world, partly because of my start in life, and partly because I carry my Dad’s gene’s I guess!
We are called to love and support the poor regardless of their background, along with our names, their names also are imprinted on God’s hands, He has not forgotten them neither should we ,and this message I am passing on to my children and the next generation!

I am the Associate Minister at Halifax Elim working alongside husband David, we have been in ministry together for nearly 30 years. I have three grown up children and two grandchildren. My passion is to see people reach their potential and be released into mission and ministry. I have been on the Lifelink leadership team for over four years and have been involved in its development from being led by one woman to having a creative and dynamic team. Recently God has revealed to me that I am a facilitator, in that I am not meant to be a missionary myself but I am to help others experience mission in whatever way I can. Mission is an exciting place to be today!

My passion for International Missions was birthed a number of years ago following a trip to Swaziland . Our Church (Christian Life Centre, South Birmingham) had been developing its strategy for International Missions and I wanted to do something that could make a difference.
I have been able to use the ladies events of our church to profile missions and to raise finance in support too and was delighted to become part of the Lifelink Team and be able to play apart on a bigger stage in encouraging prayer, giving and support of missionaries around the world.
Apart from being Stuart’s wife and playing a very active part in church life I am mother to three wonderful children. I love hairdressing which has been my profession since leaving school, and have great opportunities to connect with unchurched people in this way. I really enjoy reading and watching romantic comedies and keeping up as a family with the latest series of 24.

I am Lisa married to Andy and living in Leeds with our 3 children, 2 boys and a girl.
A trip to Nepal a few years ago, left me fostering a holy impatience for justice that fuels my enthusiasm for mission home and away, and it is a privilege to serve with LIfelink.
I work as a nurse part time and I’m studying for an Msc in Public Health nursing. I’m involved in a Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) development group; I enjoy running, completing the Great North Run, Belfast City marathon and The Leeds 10k raising sponsorship for mission projects. I like a good read especially if it involves women and social history, and I find knitting Shreddies therapeutic.
Some goals include; encouraging our children to be all that they and only they can be. Recognise that the boundaries and limitations that confront us are mostly imaginary, write a book, and experience extreme ironing. (That’s when you do it suspended from a rock face, not when you have 5 piles to catch up on after holidays!)

I am married to Jason and we minister in the Merthyr Elim Church, South Wales. We have 3 children Joshua, Naomi and Benjamin. I am a manager of a Christian nursery in Cardiff. I also run the ladies work from the Church called WORD (Women of Royal Design). I have always wanted to go on some kind of mission’s trip and in 2010 I thought that going to Macedonia with lifelink would be a good idea. That good idea turned out to be a life changing experience. |
