The main aim of Elim International Missions is to win people for Jesus Christ across the world, to transform lives through the love of Jesus. As part of this, church planting is naturally high on the agenda. At Elim Lifelink we want to get alongside church plants to identify areas that we can show the hand of mercy and provide help, for example through supporting feeding programmes, schools and micro industry projects such as providing sewing machines and training women to earn a living.
So how does Elim Lifelink go about raising funds to help? What can we do? Here are a few ideas about events to hold to raise funds - and many of these are multi-purpose in that they raise funds for missions and at the same time can be the sort of event you can ask your non-Christian friends too and also bring all areas of the church together as they work for the same goal (Sunday School, youth groups, cell groups, lunch club, etc.)
